Naseby Crossing are an Indie Folk Band hailing from the Midlands in the UK.

We have found MMM [Midlands Music Maniacs] to be an invaluable resource for originals bands such as ourselves. It provides a much-needed and valued support network for bands such as to find venues and festivals that will take musicians writing original music.

We find ourselves fortunate enough to have been invited to play Glastonbury this year. The journey to Glastonbury was certainly helped by Della and Midlands Music Maniacs.

Firstly, MMM added one of our tracks to their
ReverbNation player at the beginning of the year, and a few weeks later provided a very honest review of our work. This led to exposure beyond that which we might normally expect.

Secondly, MMM's web site provides a 'clearing house' list of venues and
festivals looking for musicians and acts such as ourselves. It is kept up to date and it is accurate. This saves an absolute raft of time - enabling us to spend more time being creative and honing our craft.

Part of MMM's value is that they provide grassroots support and advice at a relatively local level - by networking through the MMM site and their Facebook page, bands and artistes at a similar level get to know each other, and this leads to a cross-fertilisation of ideas, almost a collision of cultures, and that is when good things happen. This could not occur at a national level. Such a resource needs to be granular and regional.

Definitely - the Midlands Music Scene is a healthier place thanks to the tireless support and championing and ambassadorship provided by Della, BeatleBabe and the team at Midlands Music Maniacs. A big thank you to you.

sincerely - Tim -

For anyone who hasn't seen or heard of Midlands Music Maniacs well your head has been somewhere all together different to mine. This outfits music work ethic is an example to all who write, play, promote and generally aspire to all things that are categorized under the musical banner. These guys are the runaway success of what can be done when you have drive, enthusiasm, flair and a hell of huge knowledge of the musical industry in the Midlands.  Steered by Della Wright who has music tattooed on her very soul inspires all, and gives whatever is asked of her.

I came about Della as many people do, looking for something to give me a lift into the Midlands Musical scene, managing at that time a reasonably successful band and looking for inspiration, she delivered with contacts galore, a plethora of who to and where not to play based on the band style etc and the rest was history. My friendship with Della was sealed and following on, when I had parted company with the band in question due to their split, she in turn introduced me to my current band The Lucky 27s, who were at that time seeking a manager, her skill is such that she knows exactly who fits where and my goodness did we fit. Her expertise in putting together the right people at the right time and the fact that she delivers such inspiration to all the bands that cross her path for whatever reason is testimony to how vital the work of Midlands Music Maniacs is. Della is so capable of taking opportunities and turning them into something special, bands have totally put their faith in her guidance and it would be hard to imagine where any of them would be without her.

As a band, we are thoroughly indebted to Della and Midlands Music Maniacs. It's people like this that make being in a band all worth while. People who use their spare time to try and not only support local artists, but to really grab local music by the scruff of the neck and try to make a music scene that we can be proud of.

We have followed MMM from the start. And still now i'm amazed that they do it all of their owns backs, simply because of their love of music. I can't count the amount of times we have gotten radio airplay, gigs and festival slots and useful advice from the MMM website, facebook and myspace.

Massive thanks to Della and the MMM crew, and keep up the good work, we all very much appreciate it.

Really appreciate the hard work being put in by Della and the team in promoting live music. It's an absolute pleasure working with them. They are one of the many unsung heroes of the unsigned music scene and deserve all the support that everyone involved in live music can give them.

Rhianna Oxjam MMM has been AMAZING with Oxjam recruitment and helping us find a band for conference - I couldn't ask for anything better! :)

Hey Juanita. (Beatlebabe)

I don't know if you remember but you once reviewed a previous band of mine called Raptor Captor. Well, your review had more of an impact on

our song writing than your aware. You said that we were reliant on 'that standared british indie sound' or something like that. There's no denying

the accuracy of that review, but we hadn't clocked this at the time.

Reading that basically made us realise that we were making music that even we didn't want to listen to. That band is now long dead and this new

project is the culmination of several direction changes spawning from YOUR review.

I suppose what i'm saying is

1) thank you for being honest when all our freinds weren't being.

2) you are in part responsible for this new band existing.

Stick that on your website! I'm even writing a song currently loosely based on you.

Please listen to and feel free to review the Terrible Lizards. I hope you like it.

Thanks and kind regards

Garry. (Terrible Lizards)

Kate Southall (Holistic Hens, DJ Katie Jay WCRfm) 'I found that your suggestions of bands and passing their music to me was a great help when I headed up FP at WCRfm... Would still like that support for the new podcast if you're OK with that? Also having you advocate what I have done (radio presenting) helped build listener audiences and increased band interaction with the show. Thanks for all you do. xxx'

Pete Caravanofwhores Smith (Caravan of Whores) 'appreciate you for noticing us ,putting us on your player and giving a great review of our song...Heartfelt thanks to you all.'
